Welcome to Johnson-Haus German Shepherds, my name is Dennis Johnson. My breeding of the German Shepherd started after I graduated from West Virginia Canine College in 1994. In my youth & teens I raised and trained German Shorthaired Pointers, we trained the dogs for hunting and field work. My Breeding program.

There are Johnson-Haus progeny titled in Schutzhund, Certified K-9 "narcotics & dual purpose", Certified by F.E.M.A, Certified Service dogs, Titled Obedience Trial competitors and great home companions. I have placed dogs throughout the US, Canada, South America and as far away as Australia.

All of my breeding dogs are direct imports or titled progeny of imports. Our German Shepherd Puppies are balanced, they are companions and guardians as well as great work dogs "Not just one or the other". I breed for correct "GSD" Temperament, athletic ability, drive for work, sound structure and good health. These traits epitomize the German Shepherd Dog.

There are many breeds of dogs that do things better than a German Shepherd Dog, "BUT" there is no breed that does "everything" as good as a German Shepherd Dog!!
